1. Catalogue content

MIFY makes available MIFs — short excerpts presented with their own context — and memes that users create from MIFs. MIFs may display a MIFY mark. That mark does not confer any right in the original work. We do not claim copyright in the original works from which a MIF may draw source material or inspiration.

2. Notices from rights holders

If you are a rights holder or a person authorised to act on behalf of a rights holder and you consider that content made available on MIFY infringes those rights, please submit a notice using the form below. We will assess the notice and, where justified, restrict the content or disable access to it. This process does not replace court or other formal proceedings.

We will confirm receipt of the notice and inform the notifier of the outcome of the assessment at the email address provided in the notice, without undue delay.

Notice form

A user account is not required to submit a notice. A notice should identify the protected work, identify the content on MIFY with information sufficient to locate it, and include the notifier's name, contact address and email address, together with the declarations below.

3. User-generated content (memes and similar)

The user who created a meme, a comment or other user content is responsible for it. If you consider that such content infringes the rights of a third party, please use the same form.

4. Age

The MIFY service is intended for persons aged 18 years and over. An account may be created only by a user who is at least 18 years of age. The service is not intended for children.
