MIFY is an Android mobile application and a related web service. It makes available MIFs — short moments presented with their own context and added value. Users may play MIFs, save them as favourites, create memes, comment and, once approved, upload their own MIFs as creators.
The features of the service may change as the service develops.
Use of the service ordinarily requires an account created through Firebase Authentication, using Google Sign-In or an email address and password. Information provided when creating and maintaining the account must be truthful. You must protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity on your account unless that activity resulted from a compromise of the account that occurred through no fault of yours.
The MIFY service is intended for persons aged 18 years and over. An account may be created only by a user who is at least 18 years of age. The service is not intended for children.
It is prohibited to make available content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes the rights of third parties, endangers the security of the service, or is otherwise contrary to these terms or to law. MIFY may refuse, hide or remove such content.
By uploading content, including MIFs, memes and other material, you confirm that you have the right to use that content and to make it available through MIFY.
You grant MIFY a non-exclusive licence to store, process, display and make the content available to other users, only to the extent necessary to operate the service.
Ownership of the content does not transfer to MIFY.
Creator status requires approval. Uploads are subject to manual review. MIFY may reject content that breaks the rules, infringes third-party rights, does not fit the service, or would create a legal or security risk. Repeated breaches may result in the loss of creator status.
Credits are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no financial value outside MIFY. The rules for earning and spending credits may change.
Optional MIFY Premium subscriptions are sold and managed through Google Play. The price is shown before purchase. In the app, Premium means no ads and playback without spending credits. The subscription auto-renews until it is cancelled in Google Play. Refunds are handled by Google under Google's rules and applicable law.
There is no guarantee of uninterrupted service, nor that any given MIF will remain in the catalogue. This does not affect rights granted to users by law.
An account may be deleted in the app and at https://mify.app/delete-account. Details of the processing of personal data are set out in the privacy policy. Some data may be retained where law, security or legal claims so require.
The service is provided in the condition in which it is made available. You are responsible for content that you create or upload. The operator's liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be contractually excluded.
The current version of these terms is always published on this page together with the date. Users are informed of material changes, including in the app.
